    Frequently Asked Questions

    Phantom Screens products are not available for DIY installation. Phantom’s Limited Lifetime Warranty can only be protected by following the rigid specifications and manufacturers standards. A factory trained Phantom Screens installer will take care of the installation for you to ensure proper operation.

     Depending on the style door, location of the door and installation of the door that we are installing on; it takes roughly 60-120 minutes.

    It is preferrred someone is home for the installation of the products. With someone home, we’re able to review the warranty, proper usages, and service once installation is complete.


    If you absolutely cannot be home, we can install on inswing and sliding doors only, and there are some exceptions where we will need the door open. The best bet is to reschedule to a time when you can meet with our factory trained installers to review the product at the time of installation.

    We have had our retractable screen door for 3 years now. We had tear in top and bottom of screen. I called and asked to have repaired. The guy came out and spent 5 minutes to "repair". Next day screen still off track. I call and they tell 3 weeks before they can send someone out again. I have already paid for a service that was not provided.
