Single or Double XL Screens Available

Sometimes 15’ wide just isn’t enough. If your oversized door is larger than 15’ wide, we do offer a double XL screen, which would be two screens that meet in the middle. With a double XL screen, you are able to cover oversized door openings up to 30’ wide.

I called and asked to have repaired. The guy came out and spent 5 minutes to "repair". Next day screen still off track. I call and they tell 3 weeks before they can send someone out again. I have already paid for a service that was not provided.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long will it take from when you measure?

After we come out to take measurements, we send you a formal quote for approval. Once we receive the approved quote, a 50% deposit, and our final measurements, we are able to place the order with the manufacturer. From there, it’s on average 4-7 weeks for us to get back out for installation.

How difficult is it to operate a manual screen at such a large size?

It’s not! The XL screens feature the latching handle for easy operation. Simply pull the screen out of the housing by using the latching handle and guide it across the entire opening, or to the desired stopping point. To retract the screen back into the housing when not in use, simply press the latch on the handle and guide the screen back into it’s housing unit.

DO NOT let the screen go by itself. It is spring loaded and will quickly slam back into the housing unit.

Our installers will review proper usage on site the day of the installation, and our office can answer questions at any time during business hours about operation.

Is there a lock available for the screen?

Unfortunately with the XL product, the latch upgrade handle is not available at this time. It is only available for the Legacy door screens.

How long does it take for installation?

For a single XL screen, installation takes on average between 60-90 minutes. For a double XL screen, installation on average takes between 120-180 minutes. For more challenging installations, time on site may be longer.
